Here are some gas savers that can save you valuable money at the pump. You’ve probably heard Barack Obama say that just inflating your tires can help solve Americas energy problems. Well, you know what, he’s right, well sorta…While properly inflated tires is far from a perfect solution for Americas gas problems on a whole, it makes good sense for you the consumer. Here’s why:

Properly inflated tires are the easiest way you can get better gas mileage out of your car. For one thing having your tires inflated to the proper specifications found on your tires makes your engine not have to work so hard. It takes a lot more horsepower to turn a deflated tire than it does to rotate a properly filled tire.

If you have the original tires on your car you can usually find the tire specifications right inside the drivers side door or in the owners manual. If you’ve replaced the tires then it’s best to check out the tires themselves to find the information you need. You can find a tire gauge to purchase at your local automotive store, Walmart or Target.
